The Lost Brothers

The Lost Brothers have long traversed the landscape of gothic folk and roots, but now they have transcended the genre to find a sound that is completely their own. After six albums to look back on, the soundscape has become cinematic, the image much clearer, their vision sharpened and their craft refined. As a body of work, it tells a much bigger story, with each album representing a chapter in their own accomplished book of song.

For over a decade now they have stuck to their vision and never wavered. As many trends came and went, The Lost Brothers forged ahead on their own path, remaining true to their goal and braving the passing storms, while slowly and steadily gaining a loyal following along the way.

Their highly acclaimed sixth album “After The Fire After The Rain” was produced in New York by Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan’s bassist and musical director of the last thirty years). The album also features guests such as M Ward, Jolie Holland, Howe Gelb and Steve Wickham, as well as Garnier, who provides double bass for the tracks. The album was released this year to rave reviews with extensive radio play, notably a much celebrated live session on BBC 6 Music’s Cerys Matthews Show. Mojo Magazine included it in their “Albums Of The Month“.
