Union Chapel Bar

Union Chapel Bar has a very lovely licensed bar, on the first floor in the Chapel’s original Lecture Hall.

Open to ticket holders only, the bar opens at the same time as the doors to the show.
Drinks served before, during and after the performance.

You’ll find many delights on offer – fine wines, a selection whiskeys and bottled beers. Including our very own beer, 1877 Union Chapel Pale Ale!

Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the Chapel, so drinks should be finished in the Bar.

We take card payments and contactless payments in the Bar (we don’t take Amex), there’sno minimum charge.

Margins Cafe

Margins Café serves delicious, freshly prepared food at gigs and events.

Coming to a gig or to Daylight Music? Don’t miss our food! Eating with us is a win-win, the food is delicious and all money we make helps to fund The Margins Project, based here at the Chapel. Margins works with people who face issues of homelessness and crisis.

All of our eggs and meat are free range, we are proud to support local suppliers.

There is always a meaty & veggie option. We can cater for other specialist diets too – just get in touch with your dietary requirements.

For gigs with 7pm doors you can book for an early dinner at 6.30pm via the event listings.
Bookings are strictly limited,  but don’t  worry if you miss out – the bar & cafe open to all ticket holders at 7pm. Most people come in pop their coats down on a pew and head upstairs for a drink & bite to eat.

More info about booking

The Café is staffed by trainees on the paid Supported Employment Programme run by The Margins Project.  This programme provides an opportunity for people who have experienced homelessness and crisis to get back into work. With paid positions in the café & office Margins focus on improving well-being, building self-esteem and developing employability skills.

Coming to a particular event? You’ll find the menu for the night on the event listing shortly before the show.

Some disabled people and wheelchair users may find access to the bar & café difficult – as such we are happy to make alternative arrangements, just speak to one of our stewards.

One off catering and special orders available on request – we can cater for a wide range of dietsFor this and any other questions contact:
