Theme for September: Transition
The Beauty in Transience
As we engage in the last session of our September programme, we consider the inevitability of transition. From the seasons changing, to growing from childhood to adulthood.
Change is often viewed as something fearful and indicator of time moving by quickly. However, it is important to remember that rather than there be a feeling of dread or fear in transience there is in fact beauty. There are a lot of benefits in change such as taking new challenges, forming happy memories and also realising ones own resilience and strength.
So rather than transience being something to be feared it should in fact be celebrated and welcomed!
Come and join us in today’s session where we will planting bulbs, throughout the coming months we will literally watch the beauty in transience as these bulbs grow (watch this space!)
Delicious home made food from the Margins Café. The Margins Project based at Union Chapel works with people facing homelessness and crisis.
Whether you choose to pop in for a few minutes or the whole session all are welcome at Culture Café !
