Fringe Of Colour Comedy Spectacular with Nish Kumar

Join Mash Report & Taskmaster star and great friend NISH KUMAR as he hosts an exceptional line-up of comedy at the Union Chapel, raising funds for the Fringe Of Colour project. Joining Nish is Edinburgh Comedy Award winner ROSE MATAFEO, Qi’s SINDHU VEE, AHIR SHAH, DESIREE BURCH, KEMAH BOB, MICHEAL ODEWALE, ALISSA ANNE JEUN YI, SOPHIE DUKER & ANDREA SPISTO!

Fringe of Colour is a multi award-winning promotional and community-oriented initiative for supporting shows by artists of colour at the Edinburgh Fringe, and the people who want to see them.

We provide a publicly-accessible database of shows with majority performers of colour casts, shining a spotlight on their work and making them easier to find. Throughout August, we organise events to bring people of colour at the Fringe together, including performers, audience members and workers, to appreciate the work, hold discussions and celebrate community.

We hope the performers themselves benefit from knowing that there are people of colour in Edinburgh wanting to support their work and can see this when they look at their audiences and receive their feedback.

We also provide a free ticket scheme for people of colour to attend some of these shows at no cost, with the aim to increase the accessibility of the Fringe for those who may not usually have the opportunity to see these shows.

To apply for free tickets to the comedy gala please contact Jess at:  [email protected]

All profits raised from this event will go towards funding the Fringe of Colour project so that it can reach more people and celebrate more shows. We are grateful for anything you can contribute – it will go a long way.
