ReBalance Celebrates International Women’s Day: Meet the Women in the Music Industry

ReBalance Celebrates International Women’s Day invites those wanting a career in music to meet women in the industry. Make connections with pros in their field that can offer their advice through one to ones and networking opportunities plus educational talks to encouraging words of wisdom, this is the chance to meet women in the industry who have experienced the professional music world across all kinds of sectors – from management to agents, promoters to marketers, riggers to stage managers, and beyond! Missed out on speed networking? Not a problem as the day will end with drinks giving attendees extra face time with some of the speakers.

Women from Festival Republic, Live Nation, Academy Music Group, Big Scary Monsters, Sony Music, MAMA, Ogle Hog, Metropolis, Melody VR, National Merchandise, BBC, Safe Gigs for Women, and PRS Foundation will be in attendance, with many more to be announced.

ReBalance began as a pioneering 3-year programme that launched in 2017, which has now expanded into an additional 3 years, offering 5 day’s studio time to a core female or female identified artists each month in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as a slot at a Festival Republic or Live Nation Festival. So far, there has been 300 nominations across 6 rounds, resulting in 19 finalists, and have seen live performances at The Great Escape, Wireless, Latitude, and Reading & Leeds Festivals.

Location + Access, Disabled Tickets and Essential Companions

This event takes place in the Sunday School Hall and Union Chapel Bar. Access is via the door at the back of the building on Compton Avenue, N1 2XD. There is level access to the Sunday School Hall, and approximately 12 steps with a handrail to the Bar. There is also a platform lift. Stewards are on hand to assist with the platform lift. Seating in the Sunday School Hall and Bar is typically free standing chairs and very flexible. Please let us know if you have any specific requirements.

We do not have separate tickets for disabled customers – just buy a standard ticket above. Essential companions do not need a ticket, but you do need to inform us in advance if you are attending with an essential companion.

We will happily reserve a suitable space for disabled patrons with specific access requirements. Please be in contact to inform us of any specific requirements you have and the size of your party. We will reserve a space for you in the auditorium and make the appropriate notes for our staff so they can provide any necessary assistance.
