Social Justice and Community

Social Justice and Community

“We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.”

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Beside our Sunday Service, our church has a programme of activities, which both promote social justice from a faith perspective and offers space for community building in the wider community.

Christianity has a history of speaking truth to power, social engagement, care for the environment. This rich heritage needs to be rescued from its distortions and shallow interpretations.  Our church draws from the well of faith to inform our practice in challenging times.
