Following 5 Star sell out seasons in New York, UK and Australia Camille sings the music of Nick Cave, Jacques Brel, Tom Waits, David Bowie and more. Her recent shows were awarded ‘Best Show’ Spiegeltent Dublin Fringe Festival 2007, Spirit of Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007, Best Music Brighton Festival 2006 and Best Cabaret Artiste Australian Theatre Awards 2005.
Irish/French Singer Camille O’Sullivan was recently one of the top five selling shows at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe, selling out three weeks at The Famous Spiegeltent garnering a host of 5 Star Reviews including the UK Independent and Scotsman cover and was awarded The Spirit of the Edinburgh Fringe. She has toured the world with her shows enthralling audiences with her dramatic performances selling out including the Sydney Opera House and the 3000 seated State Theatre in the Melbourne International Festival). After Camille was spotted in the International hit show La Clique she was cast in Stephen Frears Oscar winning film Mrs Henderson Presents opposite Judi Dench, Bob Hoskins and Will Young. She has sung with Duke Special, Damien Rice and Shane McGowan.
Her shows are truly theatrical, like an actor telling a story through music rather than simply singing songs. A chameleon on stage, each song becomes a different character that she inhabits
