- Event takes place from 6am Saturday, 21st June through 6am Sunday, 22nd June 2008
- Alex Zane will be hosting a 24-hour breakfast show during this time live in our Leicester Square studios
- Xfm is putting on 8 free gigs in 8 different venues throughout the 24 hours, one after another starting at 6am at the Barfly and finishing at a legendary venue (still tba) in central London
- All of those gigs will be broadcast live to air in real time
- Xfm presenters will compere the events and will be reporting live into Alex's show with updates throughout the day
- You cannot buy tickets to these gigs. The only way to get tickets is through competitions on air at Xfm 104.9 FM and on line at http://www.xfm.co.uk/. The participating bands will also have a small allocation for their official websites.
- Ticket competitions on Xfm London will commence Monday, 26th May
- Most of the tickets given away will be to the individual gigs although there will be a few "Golden Tickets" which will get certain winners into all 8 shows
- On air and on line promotion commences Wednesday 21st May and will continue through Saturday, 21st June.
