Jorge Drexler’s has built a loyal following throughout Latin America with a different style of music: a highly literate body of work that often addresses complex themes mixed with sophisticated harmonies, and blending traditional rhythms like milonga, candombe and murga with soft elements of electronica and break beats.
His style of song-writing attracted many high-profile artists to work with Drexler, they include Joaquin Sabina, Omara Portuondo, Caetano Veloso, Bajo Fondo Tango Club, Neneh Cherry and Pablo Milanes amongst others.
Jorge Drexler will perform his best repertoire and new music from his forthcoming album ‘Cara B’ (Side B) out on Warner Music this year.
