Alan Saggerson has been co-organist of St. James’s Parish Church, Prebend Street, Islington, London, N1 since 1990 having originally trained with Paul Bryan (now St. John’s Cambridge) and latterly with American virtuoso Ann Elise Smoot. For several years he has given recitals in and around the City of London including most recently St. Stephen Walbrook, The Crown Court Church of Scotland and St. James’s Parish Church in Croydon (where in 2006 he also won the Croydon Festival Recital). In each of the last 3 years he has played on summer tours of the USA (including the Anglican Cathedrals in Philadelphia and Baltimore; the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC and the Memorial Chapel, Harvard) where he plans to return later in 2008 touring Connecticut and Rhode Island. In real life Alan is a lawyer based in the City of London.
