The nearest tube stop is Highbury & Islington station on the Victoria line and the Overground network.
It is less than five minutes from Union Chapel – just turn right out of the station and you can see the red brick tower of the Chapel.
Angel station on the Northern line is a 20 minute walk away at the southern end of Upper Street.
The nearest mainline train station is Highbury & Islington, which is served by First Capital Connect, there are connections to Kings Cross, Victoria and Stratford International.

We strongly encourage people to use public transport as parking in the vicinity is extremely limited. We have no parking of our own.
Union Chapel is outside the Congestion zone
Union Chapel is located in a Controlled Parking Zone (Zone E). Click Data menu, transport & parking, Controlled Parking Zone areas.
Non – Match Days – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm. Saturday 8.30am to 1.30pm.
Arsenal Home Match Days – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 8.30pm. Saturday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Sunday and Public Holidays – Noon – 4.30pm.

Private local car parks
Upper Street Car Park – Located at the Business Design Centre on Upper Street (10 -15 minute walk from the Chapel). Height restriction of 2m applies.
Westerfield Road Car Park – Located at Seven Sisters (a six minute tube journey from Highbury and Islington). No height restriction, £6.40 per day.
www.justpark.com – Reasonably priced parking spaces that must be booked in advance online.
There is no disabled parking bay outside Union Chapel but Blue Badge holders can park:
- on yellow lines where there are no loading restrictions for up to three hours, providing the clock card is displayed and set to your time of arrival. Please note anyone can park on single yellow lines from 6.30pm onwards (unless it is an Arsenal Home Match)
- in resident bays, and pay and display bays for an unlimited time

There are plenty of cycle racks around Highbury Corner, the park railings outside Union Chapel are also very handy!
Unfortunately, we don’t have any bike racks of our own but you are welcome to check folding bikes in to the Cloakroom (£1 per item).

Coffee shops: Lots of choice – the closet and one of the nicest is Maison d’etre (Highbury Corner).
Places to Eat: The best place to eat is at the Chapel itself! Margins Cafe serves hot homemade food in the bar at most gigs and opens with doors to the show. There are also innumerable restaurants in the local area serving almost every kind cuisine – lots of info on Google.
