Union Chapel Bar

Union Chapel Bar has a very lovely licensed bar, on the first floor in the Chapel’s original Lecture Hall.

Open to ticket holders only, the bar opens at the same time as the doors to the show.
Drinks served before, during and after the performance.

You’ll find many delights on offer including fine wines, a selection whiskeys and bottled beers.

You can pre-order your interval drinks at the bar – just speak to a member of staff.

Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the Chapel, so drinks should be finished in the Bar.

Technology willing, we can take card payments and contactless payments in the Bar (we don’t take Amex). There is a £5 minimum spend on card transactions.
The nearest ATMs are opposite the Chapel on Upper Street (Natwest or Nationwide) or at Highbury Corner (Barclays).

Margins Café serves delicious, freshly prepared food at gigs and events.

Coming to a gig or to Daylight Music? Don’t miss our food! Eating with us is a win-win, the food is delicious and all money we make helps to fund The Margins Project, based here at the Chapel. Margins works with people who face issues of homelessness, mental health, isolation and crisis.

All of our eggs and meat are free range, we are proud to support local suppliers.

It provides trainees the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and get used to a work environment.

Coming to a particular event? You’ll find the menu for the night on the gig listing shortly before the show.

Some disabled people and wheelchair users may find access to the bar & café difficult – as such we are happy to make alternative arrangements, just speak to one of our stewards.
