'on the move' & 'feed yr mind'

Union Chapel Project started up a programme of Creative Workshops in October 2000 for clients from the Margins Sunday drop-in and other local day centres.

So far we have started

The Homelessness Arts Programme is co-ordinated by Julia Farrington, of Index Arts. One of its highlights is the printing of 16 Postcards from the Edge, 8 poems and 8 paintings.  Several public exhibitions of paintings by homeless artists have been held, venues including Canary Wharf, the Diorama Gallery and the British Museum. Imagine the boost to the ego exhibiting or selling a painting gives to someone who has at some stage lost everything.
