Friends
The Friends of Union Chapel help restore and preserve Union Chapel, Islington, and organise a variety of activities in the building.
The Friends were founded in 1982 as a response to the threat of demolition of the building. Church members, local residents and lovers of heritage and architecture came together successfully to fight off the demolition.
The Friends are an independent, non-denominational charity, and we invite you to join us and take part in the restoration and care of this magnificent building, and the development of activities within it. You will be part of one of the most exciting stories in Islington!
