Union Chapel Project is a registered charity whose aim is to make the facilities of this beautiful gothic building accessible to the widest range of public and private events. The revenue created is used to restore and maintain the fabric of the building. We welcome hires from promoters and producers of all kinds of cultural and business events. Union Chapel is also regarded as being one of the best rehearsal spaces in london and attracts some of the top theatre companys in the country
Hiring Union Chapel enables us to carry out much needed repairs to this Victorian building. In addition to hiring the main auditorium (capacity 1,000), there are several ancillary spaces from the studio theatre/'back room' to lecture halls and small meeting rooms.
Union Chapel Project also runs an extensive and innovative arts programme, with the aim of accessibility to groups of people who might not otherwise have performance space - for example, the many ethnic communities in Islington, and people with disabilities.
