Taking place on 27th February at the beautiful Union Chapel, at the heart of London, Owl Parliament will be a spectacular musical experience. With an intimate 800 capacity, this is a unique chance to see some of the best and most fascinating acts in a place where their sound will truly shine. With the unpredictable British weather continuing to disturb and disrupt our favourite festivals (Bestival 2008, Truck 2007, most Glastonburys), Owl Parliament is all about enjoying incredibly exciting music in a dry, intimate and unique environment - right at the centre of the big metropolis. Owl Parliament 2009 had a stellar line up that featured Jeff Lewis, Laura Marling and Johnny Flynn (and many fine others). 2010's line up doesn't disappoint. Phil Elverum, Aidan Moffat and Darren Hayman are three of the more influential performers of the last decade (Phil with both his The Microphones & Mount Eerie projects, Aidan with Arab Strap and Darren with Hefner) . Emmy The Great and Blue Roses are two of the the hottest names in UK pop-folk thanks to their fantastic and much acclaimed 2009-released debut albums. The awesome Jeremy Warmsley will play his last show for the foreseeable future as 'Jeremy Warmsley' (exciting side projects are due to take centre stage). Mariner's Children, Go Away Birds and Pete Roe are three of our favourite promising musicians with singles and EPs due later on in 2010.
