Tallis Festival 2010 Concert - Exmoor Singers
The concert is the culmination of the Tallis Festival 2010 - an intense choral workshop weekend hosted by Exmoor Singers of London. The concert will include a traditional performance of Thomas Tallis 40 part motet 'Spem in Alium' which will be performed from the galleries of the Union Chapel to create an amazing surround sound experience. In addition there will be the world premiere of a piece especially commissioned for the Tallis Festival by James Lavino entitled 'Visitations' . This exciting piece is a setting for 40 voice parts of text from the Old Testament book of Ezekiel.
