Daylight Music

Music, tea and cake!

Daylight Music brings together amazing music, a magical atmosphere and homemade cakes in one of London’s finest venues.

These Pay-What-You-Can gigs run on Saturdays throughout the year from 12noon – 2pm.

Upcoming

Tickets are available on the door – we just ask you to pay what you can. We suggest £5.

All of the money from your ticket goes to the running costs of the event and expenses of bringing these bands, from all over the world, to the venue.

We couldn’t run these events without your generosity – it makes the whole thing possible, so thank you!

The team do take well deserved breaks throughout the year so if there is nothing showing on the listings check back soon.

Each Daylight Music is a unique experience with an incredibly diverse programme of artists and music from every imaginable genre. Past highlights have included performances by artists from Nils Frahm to Alexis Taylor, Frank Sidebottom to The London Accordion Orchestra and Lisa Knapp to Lætitia Sadier. We’ve had Female Morris dancers (and accompanying horse), the Father Ted theme tune on our 140 year old organ and artists from as far away as Japan and the USA. Daylight Music is carefully curated by Ben Eshmade of Arctic Circle who makes sure they are always something special.

And there’s lots of ways to get involved, we rely on a team of trustee volunteers to staff the door, coordinate artists on the day, capture some of the magic on camera and ensure the smooth running  event in innumerable ways.

Daylight Music are always on the lookout for new recruits to their merry band!

Volunteer

Everyone’s welcome at Daylight Music and it’s the perfect place to introduce children to live music. It’s very family friendly, with a buggy park and a drawing area for everyone – regardless of age – to enjoy expressing themselves.
